I just finished my first semester in an honors program at a community college in Arkansas and I'm hoping to transfer for the fall 2005 semester. My CC GPA is fine, but my high school career was...less than stellar. Luckily, several of the schools I am applying to (particularly SUNY Geneseo and Hendrix) Do not look at high school grades after a full year of college.

So my question is, since the applications are due in before I will have fully completed the spring semester, will they consider to me have completed a full year as I am assuming, or will they have to see my high school grades as well?

Hi, I just found this site and was wondering if anyone could give me a little more insight.

I want to transfer to Georgetown as a Junior next Fall. In HS I had only a 1000 SAT score, and as of now, I have a 4.0 GPA with 58 college credits behind me. I am also a candidate for the " Georgetown Preferred Consideration Program" that Georgetown offers. I feel as if I have all of the credentials to be a Georgetown student, with the exception of a silly SAT score thats mainly used for HS seniors. Any thoughts, anyone?
