<p>My junior year of HS I got a massive concussion, and It really dragged down my GPA, which was not that great to begin with. Even though I got great grades this year (senior year) I know I wont make it into the schools I want, so I'm going to CC. My question is, can I transfer out in one year without my high school GPA being looked into? I plan on walking on the football team there(I had d1 offers before my concussion ruined my grades). And what kind of classes should I take in CC if i want to major in mechanical engineering and transfer? I already plan on joining Phi Delt. </p>
<p>To transfer, your freshman year GPA in college should be very high - close to 4.0. Plus great recos etc.</p>
<p>After a massive concussion, I might re-consider football. That said, if you are serious about this, you should talk to the football coach and get their advice. </p>
