Transfer questions.

My junior year of HS I got a massive concussion, and It really dragged down my GPA, which was not that great to begin with. Even though I got great grades this year (senior year) I know I wont make it into the schools I want, so I'm going to CC. My question is, can I transfer out in one year without my high school GPA being looked into? I plan on walking on the football team there(I had d1 offers before my concussion ruined my grades). And what kind of classes should I take in CC if i want to major in mechanical engineering and transfer?

You are unlikely to get into UofM as a transfer unless you have around 50 or so credits. They want you to have junior status. I’m pretty sure they will want to see HS transcripts as a transfer. Assuming you have an excellent college GPA, the HS GPA shouldn’t be an issue.

You might want to contact the admissions person for your region to see what they recommend.
