I go to a school that I absolutely love everything about, the atmosphere, people, location, etc. Only thinking that troubles me is the prestige. I mean my school is USNEWS, Tier I, but its like maybe early 100s. I was thinking about transfering to a school that has a better reputation, i.e. Emory or UNC, both I could go to. Id also transfer to a school that gave a better scholarship. I am a econ major, undecided between business and law school, and despite what people say, Ive heard that undergrad plays a pretty big part in the jobs that you get before prof school. Ive said that I wanna go to law school, Ill stay here, and if I go to BSchool, ill transfer. Is that logical?

yes....................

You should stay at your school, why are you going to transfer if you are happy where you are only to find out that the next school you transfer to is going to suck and its going to be harder to make friends because part of being a transfer student is having to rebuild your social life.

I understand OP's lil "dilemma" there.
Unlike any other school, Business school is probably 60-90%% prestige. Which undergraduate you went to plays a huge factor in the type of job you get (unless you are for accounting), and if you plan on going to a top business school, you may want to get a job at somewhat prestigious firm. And the top firms only look at the top universities for recruiting.
