Hello arielclaire7,
To be considered as a transfer student, we require applicants to have completed 24 transferable hours with a cumulative GPA of a 2.0 or higher in all undergraduate coursework. To get an idea of what will transfer, feel free to browse our course equivalency guide here: [Search for Course Equivalencies](http://www.uark.edu/registrar/TransferCredit/SearchEquiv.html)
For courses to transfer they will need to be from an accredited institution and applicable towards a bachelor’s degree. No vocational, technical, remedial, or credits with a C or lower will be considered for transfer. We will let you know once your credits have been evaluated so you know exactly what will transfer. If you have under 24 transferable hours, you would be considered a Transfer Freshman and would need to submit your high school transcripts and test scores as well.

We do offer in-state tuition to qualified applicants from bordering states. Transfer students from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, or Oklahoma will be awarded the Non-Resident Tuition Award (in-state tuition consideration) if they have 24 or more transferable hours at a 3.0 GPA or higher. This is an automatic award, unlike all other academic scholarship awards, which you would need to apply for.

I hope that helps, please feel free to continue to ask questions and I’ll do my best to respond!
