Heres my situation, I am a freshman at FSU who isn't liking Tallahassee too much. My family has strong ties to Georgia Tech including: some donations under our name, legacy, and family members retired from/still in the faculty. I have a strong GPA, a 3.7, and decently rigorous classes. For Georgia Tech I need Calc I, Calc II, and 2 Physical/Earth sciences to be considered for admission. The problem is at FSU we have a similar curriculum, but do it in a different order. For example GT students are expected to take management statistics their sophomore year, while I am taking it currently. I was wondering, considering my family's involvement in the school, how lenient they would be on the "required transfer courses". I could have both of the physical sciences done by fall 2011, and I have credit for survery calc, but how will GT admissions react to me not having completed Calc II. On a side note, If I am applying for management will GT care if my Calc I credit is from Survey Calc/Business Calc?

I tried contacting the school, but I keep getting an automated response. I will go visit my FSU counselor to see what he knows, but I was wondering if any one out here had some insight.

Thanks A Lot
