If a University says that you may not retake the SAT while in college,is it okay to take it, and send the scores anyway? I mean, what if you do significantly better? I just don't think it's fair that one has to be plagued by terrible SAT scores for the rest of their life!

I'm assuming you're applying to more than one school, and that others do not follow this policy, and therefore you will be taking them again anyway. Also, I'm assuming that the college that does not allow you to retake them does require an SAT score report. If this is case, just send them the new scores since they'll be on the report, and they'll either look at them or they won't.

You hit the nail on the head, lol. But thanks for the input!

Will it look bad to retake the sat or the act again? Also how do you find out whether or not they accept scores that were taken while you were in college?

Look on their website or call them.

it depends on which college you will apply, lol.
