Transfer School Best for Consulting

Hi all!! I’m a sophomore/rising junior who wants to go into management consulting after undergrad; I’m currently a student at the Claremont Consortium and I’m trying to transfer an decide between Pomona College, Claremont McKenna College, and UPenn. Could I pls have some advice from consultants/recruiters on which school to choose that would be best for an MBB firm?

I’m more inclined to stay within the Claremonts because I’m able to obtain my master’s in management simultaneously with my double major B.A. in philosophy and cognitive science through a special program-- which imo would be even more impressive than going to an ivy. I have a 3.95 GPA for undergrad and 4.0 GPA for my master’s. I’m also wondering if I should apply to any other schools other than the 3 I’ve listed above, or if it’s not worth my energy. I feel really stuck, and any help would be immensely appreciated!

Also if you come across this i hope have a wonderful day

You can recruit for MBB from your current school. Start networking with current consultants at MBB that attended Claremont consortium schools. Use LinkedIn or career services at your school. Start prepping for the interview. Applications open in late summer/early fall. Good luck!

Thank you so much! But don’t the MBB firms almost only exclusively recruit at CMC or Pomona?
I’ve already started to reach out to alum but what can I do after that initial first call?

I know many kids who have gotten MBB from schools that are not considered targets. So I don’t think that’s a great reason to transfer. After the initial call, prep. When you are getting closer to interview time, ask them to case with you. If you do well, they’ll often refer you for an interview.
