Cornell's Applied Economics and Management program sounds good for you. Great deal for NY residents.

With a 3.57 and not-so-stellar high school grades, you may have a hard time transferring at more selective schools. Try shooting at some of the "moderately selectives".

Clark, Emmanuel, Fairfield, Hampshire, Ithaca, Manhattan College, Marist, Marlboro, Quinnipiac, Salve Regina, St. John's University (NY), Suffolk, UConn, URI, UVM, etc....

...should all be in your range. That list includes a variety of atmospheres, so there should be at least a few that you like.

lol UConn is above that class...UConn business is very very selective...

all you need for uconn is 3.3 back to back for 2 semesters, not cumulative, dont think thats VERY selective like you state, and thats for transfer admission..... your overating your school..there are much tougher state schools.

lol for internal its 3.3....do not be fooled! Its around a 3.5 and higher for external transfers, and much tougher for out of state people. The 3.3 is the minimum they will look at for anybody..........just trying to help....better to be prepared!

i know 2 ppl who got in with below 3.5 external

like i said.... a minimum 3.3

if you think 3.3 is tough, then idk

Never said it was.......A 3.5 average GPA in college is not easy! Every school has a minimum transfer gpa requirement. At most schools it is a 3.0, so a 3.3 signals to applicants that the school is very competitive. UConn has a stronger reputation for business than any of the schools mentioned above..... people know this....hence the reason why it is so competitive. I am just trying to help you, I do not want to argue. If you have any questions about the competitiveness of the school, call up Seanice Austin or Brandy Hare in the undergrad business office. They will give you all the details you need.

UMass Amherst's Isenberg School of Management is on the Business Week best in the northeast list. For transfer students, they require a minimum of a 3.2 each semester but they require a 3.5 or higher in business prerequisites, such as econ, calculus, and accounting. Internal transfers need a minimum of a 3.5 (usually higher). Princeton Review just rated UMass Amherst's Isenberg School the #1 public in the country for student satisfaction, based on a student survey.
