Transfer: Send Updated Transcript with 30 hrs and a 3.4?

So I have already applied as a Fall 2010 transfer.

The thing is, I applied with only 27 hours. I have just completed 30 hours (a GOVT mini session class) and my GPA went from a 3.22 to a 3.4.

Should I go ahead and send my updated transcript now or wait until I complete the rest of my classes (I am currently taking 27 hours!)?

I know that if I wait until after Spring 2010, most decisions will be made and the process will become more selective.

Do you think a 3.4 is good enough? >.<

Hey, it couldnt hurt. I would try it. What’s you major?

Anthropology.

If I am rejected, how would I go about writing a letter of appeal with my final Spring 2010 grades?

Sorta off-topic, but how in the world do you manage 27 hours?

Houston Community College online classes :(

I hope none of those classes are major related. If so, you will be at a huge disadvantage when you get to UT. The only classes I took, I don’t remember anything hardly. At least they were basic government and sociology.

Oh yeah, they are alllll basic cores. I’ve been strictly following the Lib Arts transfer plan

Argh, I’ve been on the phone with them all morning and I haven’t gotten anything helpful responses.

I’m trying to figure out if its better for me to apply now with my 3.4 or if I should wait till June and send my final transcript with a hopefully higher GPA.
