Transfer Spring 2013 - Chances?

<p>Hello everyone! I was just wondering if anyone could let me know what my chances are for getting accepted into University of Maryland as a transfer student for SPRING 2014. I just submitted my application tonight so it will be going through as regular decision NOT early decision.</p>

<p>MD Community College
33 completed credits
completed the required math's and english's
3.333 overall GPA</p>

<p>My only concern is that back in 2008 I did not take school seriously and basically failed and dropped two semesters worth of classes. I retook all the classes I either dropped or failed. Received a 3.4 GPA afterwards. Then my grandmother passed last year and I forgot to drop 3 classes and ended up failing those as well. Just retook those classes this past semester and received a 4.0 (made the Dean's list as well). Now my overall GPA is a 3.333. </p>

<p>You’re guaranteed if you did mtap. Even if not, I can’t fathom a reason not to be accepted into the university. You’re probably even fine with the LEPs. They are really just looking for a 3.0+ from the md cc’s with 30+ credits.</p>

<p>I did not do mtap. Is that something that I could do now or is it something that I should have done before the application process? Thanks!</p>
