Transfer Student and AP scores

Hi, I recently applied for MSU. I’ve been waiting about a month now and it says my application is finally under review. I had 6 credits from AP classes in high school that are credits at my community college, but there was. I option to input them in the self reported grades section. I contacted college board and sent in a form to have my archived scores sent to MSU a little over two weeks ago. I decided to be sure they received this form and sent out my scores to MSU yesterday, and they never sent them at all. These are two classes that aren’t required and I unfortunately got 3s on, so they won’t be counted as credits at all. My only concern is that I said that I had so many credits, but 6 of those haven’t even gotten there. Should I just email an admissions person? Will this hinder me? I have a 3.4 and have an associates in science degree if that helps.

Another thing I’m concerned about is that I listed that I would have 62 credits by the time I enrolled. I failed to list the 4 credits I was taking at the time of applying and the another 4 credits that I decided to take last minute this semester just to keep busy. So overall, I’ll have 70 credits by the time I enrolled. This whole transfer process is so complicated. Given these two things, are my chances of getting in still high? As long as I email somebody and explain things on time?

Right up front, as long as you have WRA 101 (Composition 1) and MTH 103 (College Algebra) and above a 3.0 you already have an extremely high chance of getting accepted. Also, the fact that you will have 70 credits is also extremely attractive to the admissions committee. A 3.4 gives you a really high chance of getting accepted actually. I know someone who applied with a 2.9 and 31 credits and got accepted. You should have no problem.

Check to be sure the ap scores are now being sent. Contact the office at the college to explain the hold up. I don’t see a problem.
