Transfer Student- Chance Me?

Hey guys! I'm hoping to transfer to NEU in the fall as a junior and I want to know my chances are of getting accepted. I've already transferred once before, but an admissions rep. told me that it wouldn't affect my chances. I'll be transferring with 57 credits. My stats:

High school GPA: 3.65 out of 4.0 weighted. Took mostly Honors and APs.
College GPA: 3.94 (fall 2012) 3.1 cumulative
SAT: 1820
ECs: VP of HS Art Honor Society, member of HS Spanish Honor Society and English Honor Society
300+ hours of volunteering with an animal rescue agency
3 current part-time jobs: working in a local govt. office, retail, and at a law firm.

I have a professor with connections to the school writing my letter of rec. If I write a great essay, are my chances good?

3.1 college GPA might hurt you, but your HS GPA is good. I’m applying for transfer as a junior as well. (I didn’t send my HS transcript, but I would send yours, it should help.) I already submitted my app, waiting to hear back.

Seems like you are on the cusp, not a definite acceptance or denial. Make sure your transfer essay is on point, that may be the deciding factor, and best of luck. Maybe I’ll see you there next semester!

Thanks! I sent my app in the other day so I’m waiting to hear back as well. Hopefully I’ll see you there next semester!
