Transfer

Right now, I'm working on transferring from Baylor University, where my GPA is a 3.4. I had lots of EC activities in high school, but only one right now. In high school my GPA was about a 90-91 overall, and my SATs were not spectacular - 470 on the math section and 610 on the language section. Does this sound feasible for a transfer?

Also, I don't know if this would make a difference, but I have a sister who is currently attending Northeastern, which means that, if I go there, we'll be there at the same time. Might this have any bearing on the admissions decision/scholarship (because I know they tend to be stingy with money)?

You have similar stats to mine when i transferred to northeastern. you have a good chance of getting in. I am not to sure about a scholarship/admission decision it should not matter but good luck. what is your major?

NEU is my top choice to transfer into right now…from my research it seems they are pretty inconsistent with the kinds of students they accept. Ive heard of 3.9 transfers being denied and 3.2 accepted…maybe they really do take that “holistic” approach many universities claim to do. You probably have a good chance since you did well in high school…
