Hello, I recently got accepted for Nanoengineering. I would like to change my major to Chemical Engineering, but I can’t figure out how to do this. The tool only lets me change to an uncapped major, but as ChemE and nanoengineering are both on the nanoengineering department it shouldn’t be too hard for me to switch. Who should I talk to about this?
Thank you
This link explains the process since you will be considered a continuing student:

@Gumbymom is it possible to change my major before I enroll/submit an SiR? I’d rather go to UCI but if they don’t give me any aid I’ll have to go to UCSD so I want to work this out earlier ideally.
I would contact the ChemE department and ask but it looks like you can only change your major in June (6/17/19) based on the link. Since you need to SIR before then, it would be better to talk to someone directly.
