I'm a philosophy major currently waiting for acceptances. I have already been admitted into UCSB but am currently waiting for UCSD, Berkeley and UCLA. I want to see what my chances are for getting into Berkeley primarily. Berkeley is my dream and hopefully they could see that in my personal statements.

3.64 overall (One semester was particularly meh, personal stuff happened, but i didn't do BAD, just more Bs than A's so i didn't write about it)
4.0 prereq (although, Berkeley's do not articulate over for my CC) so I just took as many phil classes as I could

10/10 for the first PS
8 or 9 for the second PS

I know from reading recent threads that for some reason Philosophy majors are admitted with more ease than other majors (even though Berkeley admits by college).

Things that put me apart: I went to an all girls catholic school and explained that I am not religious at all and am open minded to all beliefs and faiths, showing the connection between philosophy and religion. I have had 3 jobs assisting attorneys (one my father), I have had an internship with Senator Carol Liu and showed my interest in politics/law and have volunteered with many political organizations.

People (from counselors to students at Berkeley/UCLA) have told me I should not be too worried, especially since UCLA's average admitted is 3.61 with over a 60% admit rate.

CHANCE ME PLEASE BEFORE I HAVE A HEART ATTACK! :)
Thank you!
