Transfer Student: Management Minor?

<p>I will be attending UCI this fall majoring in Biology and was thinking about getting a minor in management. But, I read on the Merage school website that I would have to apply, so I wanted to know how competitive it was to get into the management minor? Also, I am enrolled in Management 5, would this be a sufficient prereq since Management 1 is full?</p>

<p>I currently have a 3.7 Overall GPA, and I have taken Stats 7 and Econ 20A at my CC and received an A in both classes.</p>

<p>Lastly, are there any other minors you guys would suggest that would help a bio major for health professional schools?</p>

<p>I’m not sure if these are minors at UCI, but if they are I would strongly consider them (you could even minor in more than one):
Public Health
Economics
Statistics
Mathematics</p>

<p>Alternatively, you could look into getting an accounting certificate through a community college or UC extension. UCB offers a business certificate and offers a bunch of business finance & accounting classes online. Maybe UCI has something similar.</p>
