Hey guys,
I’m a major stress cadet- so I really hope someone has an answer that can help ease my nerves! I’m currently a third year student at community college, third year because I changed my major from Engineering to Pre-Law (philosophy). My GPA as an engineering student was suffering because I not only have been working full-time since I’ve been 16, but I hated it and continually took on more than I could handle. Long story short, I took a legal studies class and it changed my life, making me change my major. Prior to my change in major, I had a 2.71, now I have a 3.27- nailing all A’s in my required classes for my major and still working full-time. I’m applying to UCLA, Cal, UCI, and UCSD… LA is my goal, my heart, soul, and family is there. All of which I explained in my essays and what not. Does anyone know how they weigh GPA? Or what my chance of even getting in is?
