Transfer Student

<p>Hey guys! I'm planning to transfer to IU Bloomington for fall semester of 2015 as a Sophomore. I've heard that it's hard to make friends at IU after freshman year and all the upperclassman turn to "off-campus" housing. I'm not the most outgoing person out there, so I am slightly worried about making friends. </p>

<p>I'd really appreciate it if someone can tell me what life's like at IU as a transfer student, or how friendly the student body is like. </p>

<p>I have a very close friend who transferred in as a sophomore as well. I would say a remarkably large portion of upperclassmen go off campus. However, there are an astounding number of clubs and organizations for you to get involved and find like-minded people. I think you find many IU students incredibly welcoming. Additionally, the greek community here is very active and strong if you’re interested. Hope this helps.</p>
