Transfer Student

I’m a junior in High school but also taking college classes. If I get into UGA will all my credits transfer? And will my SAT and ACT matter when I’m transfer student.

By college classes, do you mean AP courses? If so, then yes, those credits will be accepted by UGA. Take a look here to see which credits are offered:

As for transfer student admissions, I’m not quite sure. But according to this link (courtesy of the UGA Admissions Blog, which is a fantastic resource!), UGA won’t look at your high school materials, including SAT/ACT/GPA.

No I’m in a college/high-school and next year when I graduate I will have 24 or close to 36 college credits. So with all those credits am I considered a transfer student or just a Freshman ? And Thanks for the reply.

Look at the transfer equivalency to see if your classes transfer. Search for your school then see the classes. (theconformist gave you the link). As someone who did dual enrollment and is a current freshman at UGA, most (if not all…) of your classes will transfer if they’re in the equivalency. As for being a transfer, you will NOT be applying as a transfer student because you have not graduated high school yet. Transfer status is someone who has been in college for at least a year AFTER graduating high school.
