Will I be considered for UGA?

I just finished my freshman year at Georgia State University, and I hate it for so many reasons. I missed the sophomore transfer deadline, so I wanted to go to GSU again sophomore year and apply during that for junior admissions at UGA. I currently have a 3.9 GPA and 29 credits and by the application deadline next year I’ll have at least 45 credits, assuming I don’t fail any classes. I read somewhere on here that juniors needed 60 credits by the deadline but I couldn’t find that on the UGA website anywhere. Even if they won’t accept me as a junior, would they let me go in as a sophomore? I really don’t want to stay at Georgia State.

Hey, I just transferred out of GSU (also hated it like hell), so hopefully I can help.
UGA only accepts people with 30+ credits as sophomore transfers, so even though you missed the deadline, I don’t think you would have been admitted due to only having 29 credits.
You can actually transfer as a spring sophomore. The application opens up this September I believe.
Anyways, you would still transfer as a sophomore with 45 credits.
You seem like a great candidate that should have no problem getting admitted.
