CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE, I'M GOING TO ROLL AROUND IN HOOKERS AND JELLO!

Ok, sorry for the unintelligible post. I was too excited.

Anyway:

Congratulations everyone. Hope to see you around campus!

congratsss to all who made it

guess its not looking to hot for me since i applied to CLAS (psychology) and still havent heard nething

did u guys who got in for the fall receive notification through the mail or u checked on ISIS....also around what time?

i checked mine at about 10ish? it couldve been up earlier though yesterday
i'm only a freshman now OOS (elon university) but i went to high school in florida, got full bright futures orginially so maybe that helped?
i have a 3.8 and im a history majorrrrr
WOO gators now i have to say adios to unc

So I'm guessing if you haven't heard back yet, expect a rejection letter in the mail?

All I'm doing is using the Check Status button, signing into my GatorLink account and the same message for the last two months keeps showing up. Am I doing something wrong? Or have they simply not gotten back to me yet?

Deadline for Michigan and Minnesota's enrollment deposit is tomorrow, time to make an angry phone call...

what does ur status say online

daftnik i thought you were going to michigan regardless?
and when i use the status check it comes up with this message:
Congratulations!! Your application to the University of Florida for the 2008 Fall term has been approved!

Official notification will arrive by mail, including important orientation and immunization information.

We look forward to seeing you on campus soon, and welcome to the Gator Nation!

My son has applied to the college of agriculture at UF. He applied in October of last year (2007). He will have his AA in premed from a community college by this summer. He has a 3.9gpa on his application. He spoke to admissions about 2 weeks ago and they said "All we can tell you is you will know by July 31 - your application has not been reviewed yet". He is applying for 2008 fall term. Good luck to all. We check online often. Best I can tell they must update around 6 to 7pm Eastern time once per day. Is someone knows different that this please let us know.

has neone else heard anything on ISIS or from admissions

We have heard nothing. One of my son's friends got notice yesterday via ISIS that he was accepted. I do not know which college at uf he had applied.

now im concerned i applied since nov and all its says is that my application has been sent to the college i applied to (CLAS)

I'm gonna call and ask if I can find out today because the other school I applied to UM..there enrollement deposit is due today

i'll keep the thread updated of what happened when i called

Great - look forward to hearing what they tell you.

gatorbait2299,

Well, I'm from Michigan and got into UM, but there is a limit. I have 60+ credits, all the prerequisites fulfilled at UF, and it's a lot warmer (not to mention they got hotter babes). In addition, UM doesn't admit you directly into your major, just the college. UF does and if I get a 3.2 at UF, they directly admit me into their graduate program - who has VERY good grad school for my major.

OOS isn't too expensive, and I think UF gives me a better overall college experience since I would be living at home if I go to UM. If I got in, UF is definitely worth a visit but I haven't gotten in yet and I don't think I will. All the admissions office told me when I called is that "A decision will be mailed to you shortly". A little disappointed that nothing has been resolved, but life isn't fair.

By the way, What did you end up doing yesterday with your enrollment deposits? I know you got into both schools, so I'm basically wondering which one you think is better.

yah i know i love UF i have several friends that go there and going to high school in FL ive become a gator fan completely!
now that ive gotten into UNC though i have to argue with the parents to let me come esp. as just a sophomore transfer and now being instate for nc... :(
i have to decide by may 14th for chapel hill and so i guess will find out then im also waiting to hear back from duke where my parents went but i just really want to go to UF more!ugh haha and speaking from being there all the time the campus is gorg, being a girl myself, i mean there are often alot of people walking around in bathing suits and tanning and such from what ive seen around my boyfriend's dorm

best of luck to you my boyfriend had to decide between michigan and uf and he chose uf because it was free for him, he says it was the best decision he ever made and hes never had any second thoughts about not going to michigan... if that helps

It is 2:50pm central time and it appears UF admissions site is down. Hope it comes back up before the end of the day so status can be checked.

If you are having problems accessing the site I found I could go here and still get into admissions site to check status
