I am planning to transfer to Davis for electrical engineering. On Assist, there is no equivalent course listed for modern physics at my community college, as with most community colleges. However, I hear that generally, transfer students don’t need to take modern physics as supposedly Physics 3 (Waves and optics) at community college contains enough modern physics. Is this true?
Talk to an adviser. It depends on how the course is taught at your CC. Make sure to keep syllabi, because a lot of times they’ll ask to see them to determine course equivalency if there isn’t already one established.
