<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I'm applying as a transfer student to Columbia and had a question about the transfer supplement.</p>

<p>On the supplement, it states that the Short Answer should be 250 words (1 Page).</p>

<li>If my essay is over 250 words, but under 1 page can I still submit it?</li>

<p>250 words is a rather loose guideline for how long the essay should be. If it is slightly more than 250 words or one page, I can guarantee you they will consider it just as much as any other essay, given that it isn’t unnecessarily wordy and has substance throughout.</p>
