Transfer to a community college for nursing program from my junior year in a 4-year university

Hey guys,

I’m a junior who is going for a Physical Anthropology degree in the university that I am currently attending. Now, I have 72 credits and since my Fall semester had started I will have 87 credit by the time I finish with this semester. I am starting to lose interest in the subject and really considering nursing. I feel motivated when I think about helping others to recover and taking care of them.
I am considering community college my GPA is low, 2.31. I didn’t have a good start enter college and screwed up along the way majoring in Biology before I changed to Physical Anthropology. The nursing program in my university only accept incoming freshman students, so I have no chance of getting in.
My concern right now is whether or not it’s worth it to transfer to a community college with 87 credits? or should I just finish with whatever major I have now and apply to an accelerated nursing program after I obtain an undergraduate degree?

I am really struggling right now and I really hope you guys and give me some pros and cons advice in this situation. Thank you!!!

You need to contact the community college that you would like to study at, and find out what their requirements are for admission into the nursing program. They will be able to answer all of your questions.
