<p>Hi, I'm a junior at Washington University in St. Louis, and I'm currently taking a semester off because I hated my major and decided that I needed to find something else. After doing a couple of internships and shadowing a surgeon, I decided that going to Med School might be best thing for me to do. My problem is however, at WashU, lets just say that I got into the wrong crowds and my grades were mediocre - low. I have 2.1 GPA after 6 semesters.
I had a 4.3 GPA in HS and a 33 on the ACT, with tons of extracurriculars. (i got accepted into a few top 15 universities) </p>
<p>So, my question is. Would a decent state school accept me as a transfer to finish my undergrad degree as pre-med? </p>
