Transfer to another college and not provide previous school's transcript?

so what happens if they request and find out that you have a data block? wont they wonder why you have that?

Hmmm…

I don’t know but TrojanTransfer19, you sound like you might make one heck of a lawyer…

BTW: So what school are you attending?

I am not pro/con for this, I’m just wondering.

It is restricted for them (USC) not to see that I have a data block. So all they will be able to view as soon as they order a past enrollment record is that I attended a my CC.

Thanks I guess EliteNewbz, if that was a compliment.

Check left for school planning on attending.

There’s an edit button at the bottom right of your post btw.

sounds pretty sketchy. i hope for your sake you dont get caught cause i dont think you deserve whatever the consequences would be. its not unheard of to want to put some of your past behind you… having said that i think your lying prick and i hope you realize that you got lucky this time and wont be doing anything like this later in life

And I have sent a link to this entire thread to the dean of admissions at USC. Have fun explaining your lie.

dude i feel like there really wasnt a need to nark…

Well your right travisR005, I’m a lying prick and I won’t be doing anything like this later in life. I’m sure that where I’m transferring to, I will stay there and stick it out. But surely I didn’t get lucky, I got smart and figured a loophole. Asking individuals who are much more qualified in law with rights involved to plan out the best routine to still abide by the law but not having it bite on the butt.

What I’m not lying about is that this technique of FERPA Block/Restriction work to conceal your past enrollment in a previous school you’ve done poorly on.

Clearly everyone is against me, that I’ve gotten away with this issue. Hating the fact that I got away with this and I will continue to get away with this fact because everyone believes what they see on the internet right? Wikipedia is an extremely reliable source?

I’d like to see USC and NYU take a stab at me against my lawyers and my FERPA Block/Restriction and data block.

the more you post the more you give NYU and USC the ammunition to withdraw your acceptance. but please, don’t stop because I told you so…lol!

No, I won’t stop posting. I’m just wondering how much money or compensation I would receive when I win the lawsuit against the admissions because they violated my FERPA Block/Restriction rights.

I hope all those who have read this thread and who have a bad past previously to take the same path I have for another chance at transferring.

Not much… given that you lied on your application about attending a previous university.

Applicants who lie on their applications are dime a dozen. What sets you apart is that you do not seem to have any qualms about committing fraud. People generally dislike people who think that it is ok to break the law as long as you think you will not get caught. You made your own bed, so you have nothing to complain about.

When has omitting previous attendance information on a college application against the law? Maybe for financial aid, scholarships and etc. but I didn’t apply for that. It’s okay to hate, I don’t really mind. I just like the fact that I finally got into my colleges and that on the applications in which will be held in court (if they’re smart enough they won’t, they don’t want to lose more money) will state that FERPA Block/Restrction were violated.

It is fraud by omission. Ask your lawyer.

I know what fraud means and this does not constitute as fraud. Omitting information can easily be seen as stress when submitting the colleges application, amnesia, accidental, and etc. What I’ve done just secured my information for my privacy. And when they see my break in years of school, the proof will hang true (not gonna’ tell you what that is). Also the violation of my FERPA rights will stay true.

I went to transfer day at USC a couple of times, and they told us a story of this guy never submitting one of this school records ( he failed many of his classes that year). A semester later, the school found out and kicked him out of the school.

Clearly TrishLovesSC, the guy was either a fabrication or didn’t take my advice of exercising his FERPA Block/Restriction rights.

Once again, I recommend all those who have a bad past academic record to exercise their right for FERPA Block/Restriction on their academic record for the school they wish to put in the past. This will give you a second chance upon transferring. Also it is legal in everyway upon the institution you attend and governement.
