Transfer to Barnard from a SUNY?

<p>I just got back college decisions and heard back negatively from Barnard, which was arguably my top. I did get into SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY Binghamton - which do you think it would be easier to transfer from into Barnard? (Also, does anyone have any experience with the transfer process or knows how difficult Barnard is to transfer to in general?) </p>

<p>SUNY Binghamton is ranked higher than SUNY Stony Brook and I know I would need a good G.P.A. in either one of those places, so is it more worthwhile do do extremely well in a less challenging school?</p>

<p>They’re both great SUNY schools. If you’re going into Business, definitely go to Bing. If you’re going to take up Science, take up Stony. A stellar GPA from any school looks good, but you’re right, it does look better from a more recognized school.</p>
