So I am currently at Hunter college and i just finished the fall with a 3.783 GPA. that is with 18 credits and i am currently taking a winter course where i expect to get a 3.0 I would like to transfer to NYU but i have heard it is incredibly difficult to transfer into. just wondering if anyone had any tips or if they think i have a good shot with my GPA.

i forgot to put my high school info but i have about a 3.3 gpa and i got a 34 composite score on the act i also have a bunch of extracurriculars.

which school in NYU would you be applying to? If it is Stern, then no…You would have a strong chance at other schools like Steinhardt, LSP…CAS would be a match/reach. Other factors that will weigh into your application would be reccomendations and essays. What HS did you go to if you don’t mind

I went to Columbia Prep. then i took two years off and started a business. i would like major in Political science so CAS would be the school of choice for me. During high school i was the director of a local food pantry serving 500 individuals on a weekly basis and managed a budget of $150,000 i was also president of Jazz band and Jazz Improv and editor of the video yearbook.

bumpady bump

You look to have a good shot. One question though: can you afford it? Aid for transfers is very limited.
