Hi, I am a first semester freshman at Hunter College and I want to transfer to NYU.

I was a decent high school student, I had a 3.6 G.P.A

My SAT Scores were not so great:
Verbal:630
Math:520
Writing:520

I am part of a one year program dedicating to improving communities in New York, I have 10.5 credits and a 3.5 G.P.A. So I would like to know what are my chances to transfer into NYU CAS or Steinhardt.

Stick around for another semester or two, and raise your GPA to 3.67+.

You could retake the SAT, but those scores weigh less the longer you remain in college. If you do retake it, study for it by taking practice tests and figuring out why you got questions wrong and why the right answers are right.

NYU is now accepting three SAT IIs instead of the SAT I, by the way.
