Transfer to UCLA, USC Thornton BA Piano Performance - SAT Scores?

Apologies if this is naive of me, but here's my situation:

I went to UCSD for about three years, math/econ major, minor in film studies, but didn't do particularly well (especially the last year in which I probably racked up 10 Ws) and decided to take a leave of absence. So I ended up with around like 2.8-3.0 overall.

I'm hoping to transfer as a piano major (would like to dbl major as well later on) to either UCLA or USC. I'll probably apply to Curtis and Juilliard as well.

My question is, would my mediocre-at-best college transcript virtually rule me out from admission? Would resending my SAT score, a 2220 from my senior year in high school 2006, help in any way?

I'm currently going to Junior College in Pasadena (PCC) and have been performing quite well, with straight A's so far in my two terms there.

Anyway, thanks for reading this, any input would be incredibly supportive.
Kevin

Bacardi, sorry I am not an expert about your chances, or your ability to retain any units you have successfully completed thus far.
I do know that at UCLA the person to contact is Al Bradley, the undergraduate advisor.
310-825-4768 (His number is listed on the UCLA website). You should similarly discuss this with the USC people. Good Luck!

Kevin, depends on how much you impress them with your piano skills. If you knock their socks off in an audition, the piano faculty will work with admissions to try to get you in. Improved recent grades will also help.
