Transfer to UCSB Winter Quarter

<p>Does anyone know the stats on UC to UC transfer acceptances to UCSB for the Winter Quarter? I am currently going to UCSC and hate it here and was wondering what kind of gpa is necesarry. 2.8 is the minimum and I currently have 3.0 cummulative and in my major which is econ. Is this good enough or should I not even bother applying in July? Please help</p>

<p>u'll be borderline. a SB rep told me they are looking for 3.0+ in the winter.</p>
