Transfer to UMass or stay at Stockton

So here's the deal, to be short. Attended service academy for two years, science and math classes killed me, had to leave. I've been at The Richard Stockton College of NJ for past year. I'm bored. Dean's list both semesters. It's easy, but it's CHEAP! I will be debt free if I graduate from here. I have one year left! So close, but Im bored. Should I transfer to UMass Amherst? Heard it's a great school. I have a week to decide. The big thing with me is the money and I would have to attend for an extra semester. Is all that debt worth it?

I am not sure what I want to do after I graduate so that makes things more difficult. Maybe get back in the military, maybe start my own buisness, I'm not sure...

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

bump…

Also ask on the College Search & Selection forum, it gets much more traffic than this one.

Thank you!

Well if you only have one year left and you would need to stay another semester at UMass maybe it would be better to stay at Stockton. If you have a car it would be easy to get to atlantic city every once in a while. I would agree that UMass would be an upgrade academically and probably socially since It is a huge school. Are you sure that you would not have to attend UMass for at least two years in order to get a degree? I know many schools say for transfers you must go to that school for at least two years to obtain a degree and they will just not make more than a certain amount of your credits. How much debt would you incur for attending UMAss for the year and a half?
