Transfer to USC: Prep Guide

Hi,

I am currently a senior in high school, but this fall I will be attending a California Community College.
My number one educational goal is to transfer to USC for Cognitive Science.
I have looked at the articulation guides and the transfer planning app, but is there any other tips and hints I should know?
I am planning to attend community college for 2-3 years, and hopefully transfer in junior standing.

I would like responses from people who’ve successfully transfer to USC.

Not really any different from transferring to any other college, but don’t forget the importance of extracurriculars, and especially stuff related to your major! They really do care about that stuff. Look at your school’s clubs/student organizations and join a few that look interesting. Most don’t take too much commitment and will simply look good on your application. Try to make yourself interesting.
