Transfer to Wash U or Brown spring semester

Hello,

I applied to transfer from the University of Southern California (originally went for Music) and have been admitted as a sophomore to Wash U and Brown (spring semester). I am having trouble making up my mind...I would love your input.

The catch is that I have to decide in 9 days before I leave town to work at a summer camp for two months.

Interested in the following areas: Environmental Studies, Anthropology, Economics, Psychology, English and Creative Writing, maybe Poly Sci (still undecided, but generally interested in social sciences) (probably want to be jamming with other musicians too)

Wash U looks like a very supportive, friendly atmosphere where lots of nice, smart people go to school...it's a safe choice, like taking your best friend to prom, yes?

I get the impression that Brown is a little more of an independent and edgy type place and that intellectual life is more vibrant there.

Wherever I go, I plan on working hard to integrate myself into the school.

Thank you so much for your help!

Since your question is more about the schools than transferring per se, you might want to also post on the College Search & Selection forum as it gets many more views.
