<p>My friend is thinking of transferring from Washu to either Cornell, Brown or Columbia. She is interested in international relations and environmental science. Based on the strength of the programs, which school would be the best choice for her?</p>
<p>She should ask that question after she applies to all three and gets in.</p>
<p>I think she wants to know the strengths of the programs so she can decide which schools she should send her transfer app to...she's interested in Brown/Cornell/Columbia but if they have weak programs in international relations and environmental science, she'll rethink where she's applying.</p>
<p>Columbia IR is legend (Obama went there), so probably Columbia.</p>
<p>Why in the world would she pick the school and not the department, in that case? Tell her to post for herself if she wants opinions.</p>
