I think you'd be able to transfer with a 3.5

so u got accepted to temple? good to hear your still continuing the fight to PSU :)

LMAO CH121S. every thread on PSU I go to I always see you post last! LOL. :)

hehe yeah I guess u just get on right after me ;-)

so is it possible to transfer after a year?

My d has a friend that transferred to UP as a sophomore after a year at another college. Good luck!

Check with admissions. From what I hear, it is difficult to transfer in Sop. year. You may have a better chance mid-Freshman year or not until Jr. year. I've heard that to transfer, they will consider you with less than 19 credits, or more than 60. )I'm not 100% sure of the exact numbers) I would make that call before you register for your classes at Temple. You'd hate to be over by one credit!!

melon390 - I just looked at the transfer info on the website and it says you must have >18 credits. I have a friend whose S just transferred in and there were definitely more restrictions than that. I would strongly suggest you call them, ask what you would need to do, and be sure to get the person's full name so you have a contact. Good luck! But keep an open mind at Temple...you just may end up loving it there.

no matter how much i love temple i will still do whatever i can do get to psu as an udergrad, even if i only go to psu for a year, (i really want 2 years though, if not 3 0r 3 and a half)......... its more of a personal issue, (whole family, cousins, etc).....

So, momfirst, can you please get me an email or something for the person's who son transferred in from another school? I am planning on majoring in biology or computer science. I hear the major is important. Furthermore, if i attempt to transfer after 18 credits, do they still look at my HS grades?

I am reluctant to give a 3rd person's e-mail. I will stick to my original advice to CALL admissions and speak to someone personally. Every situation is different and they are the "professionals" with the most accurate info. It can only be to your advantage to get high grades at Temple. Show PSU what they are missing. I'm sure a lot depends on spaces available at the time you want to transfer. Be persistent. Call now for advice, call after your first semester (hopefully with Dean's List grades!) and ask again. I understand the whole "need" to go to PSU as my whole family went there. We bleed Blue & White. Good luck!!

We bleed Blue & White..

like that line its going in my aim infoi :P
