Hi i'm currently in the 'pre-med' program in France, I wanted to know is it possible to take the MCAT if I don't succeed here ? Since ours is done in one year, not 4 and is not considered a bachelors.

US medical schools all require a minimum number of courses (typically 90 credits or 25-30 classes) to be taken at an accredited US or Canadian college before they will consider admitting anyone. Those 90 credits MUST include all the required science coursework preparatory for medical school. (Biology, genetics, anatomy, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics.)

Additionally, you will need coursework in sociology, psychology and ethics for the MCAT.

As an international you will also need 1 full year of English composition and TOEFL exam score >100.

Most US medical school require a completed bachelors degree for admissions. (A few will admit exceptional students after 3 years of college, but these exceptions are extremely rare.)

US medical schools expect applicants to have a number of activities to demonstrate their desire to attend med school–community service, medical volunteer experience, laboratory research experience, and leadership roles in activities.

Gaining these experiences takes time. Often several years.

Lastly, it’s is quite difficult for international students to gain admission to US medical schools, even if they attend a US college. Fewer than 50 (of the 120 US medical schools) will consider internationals for admission. Only 4 or 5 provide any kind of financial aid for international students. Your family will need to prove they have the financial resources to pay the full cost of your attendance–tuiion and living expenses for all 4 years of med school, which is around $250K.

~~~~~
If you want to come to US to study undergrad, earn a bachelors, take the MCAT and apply to a US med school–you can certainly do so.
But you cannot come to US and hope to gain immediate admission to US med school.
