<p>Hey kids. I’m currently a freshman at Middlebury but am finding that it’s really not a good fit for me. I’m considering transferring to a city school, preferably Barnard or Columbia. </p>
<p>I want to know what the average transfer student is like. I have a strong interest in playwriting, have had two plays produced (during high school), edited newspaper and literary magazine, played a strong role in my local Youth Group, and, seeing as the ethnic card is always a good one to have in the pocket, am Venezuelan. </p>

<p>I scored 750s on my SAT IIs. I took several APs and scored fives and fours.</p>
<p>Are my chances realistic? It’s hard for me to say with any certainty what my GPA will be y the end of my first semester, but I’d like to know if my high school record makes me a good candidate for transfer.</p>
