I never thought I'd need to be post on this thread, but I've been thinking about transferring for a while now...

I'm currently a sophomore at the U of MN. I'm in the undergraduate business program but still undecided. I think I want to do a double major in communications and marketing, but I'm not entirely sure. I've always been interested in media communications, specifically television and film. I have a 3.8 GPA but that might drop a little bit after this semester. Is it too late to consider transferring to other schools? I can't decide if it is worth it to transfer to another school for only 2 years. I already applied and was accepted to UW Madison.

I'm looking for a school that is fairly large but has a tight-knit community of college students. What I don't like about U of MN is that it has a large commuter population, and I feel like many of the students are still wrapped up in their lives back home. I would like to stay in the Midwest. I've looked into the Communication Arts program at UW Madison and Northwestern's program looks amazing, but I don't know if I will be accepted to Northwestern, and I highly doubt that I would be able to afford it since I hear they don't provide too much financial aid for transfers. Anyways, I was just wondering if there are any other schools/majors worth checking out... Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!
