I got rejected and I am just trying to look at all my options... and transferring next year is one of them. Here are some questions I have...

1.) How much easier is it to transfer than to get in as a freshman? Is there a larger acceptance rate?

2.) Is it hard to fit in and find friends because you are coming in as a sophomore and not as a freshman when everyone is first forming friendships?

3.) Do they primarily look at your first year of college or high school stats?

4.)How is the process different than applying as a freshman? (do we have to write another essay etc..)

Thanks!!

SC has a huge transfer thread in the Transfer Forum on CC. You will find help there. Also, check out the admissions site on [USC - University of Southern California](http://www.usc.edu) . There is a transfer section. Check that out as well.

A place to see statistics on numbers of transfers to SC is: [U-CAN:University and College Accountability Network](http://www.ucan-network.org) . This is a network of private universities. Date about admissions and other matters is posted on the site for your benefit.

I hope these help…
