I'm currently enrolled as a student at a CC in Maryland and I'm looking forward to transferring to George Mason University next semester which would be (Spring).

My high school GPA is horrible and my SATs scores are... I'd say not that great either. I was a big slacker in HS. I'm taking 18 credits this semester and my question is that, if I'm able to get a 4.0 and then have good recommendations and a great essay. Will I be able to get admission into GMU? Btw they also look at your high school transcript SAT/ACT scores if you have less than 30 credits.

Currently these are the classes that I'm taking:
-Eng 121 (Composition 1)
-His 122 (West civ. to premod world)
-Bio 101 (General Biology 1)
-Fren 101(Elementary French)
-Chem 101(Gen Inorganic chem)

I'm also planning to take the ACT and get a good score so I can send them in instead of my not so great SAT score.

I really don't want to wait until next fall to transfer. I really want to transfer this spring and I'm a biology major (premed) applying to the school of Arts and Sciences.

1) What are the chances of me getting admission?
2) Any other suggestions?

Thank you, your feedback will be greatly appreciated :)
