Hey guys, Im a 19 year old Engineering student at Oakton community college.
I want nothing more than to transfer to the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign for fall 2011 but I'm not sure I'll get in. I applied there as a senior in highschool to Biomedical Engineering and got rejected. My high school stats are...
GPA 3.67 - I had one D in AP Chem cause my teacher hated me, but i still got a 4 on the AP Exam
ACT 29
Took AP CHEM, AP English 1 and 2, AP Calculus, and AP US History.

Like i said I got rejected my senior year, i think mainly because of that D that i got.
Now I'm at oakton with a 4.0 so far (took calc 1 and 2 adn got A's) and I am currently taking Calc 3, Physics 1, Computer Programming, and Arabic. By the end of spring semester I will be done with all of my requirements for Sophmore Transfer except for English 2 and Chem 2, Which ill be taking in the summer before i plan on transfering.
I have 9 credit hours and by the end of this semester i will have 26. I am thinking of delaying the application untill early january so i can take a 4 credit hour course during winter break to put me at 30 credit hours. I just registered for classes for spring so my current transcript reads

Calc 1 - A
Calc 2 - A
Arabic 101 - in progress
Calc 3 - in progress
Physics 1 - in progress
Intro to Numerical methods/ C++ - in progress
Arabic 102 - Spring 2010
Physics 2 - Spring 2010
Chem 1 - Spring 2010
Engineering Statics - Spring 2010
English 101 - Spring 2010

My lowest score on the Act was a 22 in Reading which really offset all the other scores (31 and up) so I plan on taking it again this month or so and doing much better. I predict i will get about a 30 to 32 hopefully.

With that said, I am contemplating what to transfer into. I want to do material science engineering, but I mainly just want to get into the school with any major declared because once I am there I can take my engineering classes and then just transfer from within the university. What would be the easiest program for me to get into considering the courses that I've taken?
Thanks Guys!
