Transfering colleges - NJ HESAA aid problem

<p>I was accepted to Montclair State University for Fall 2012- But attended Pace University for one semester. I am transferring into Montclair for the Spring semester, and it said my TAG was cancelled because I'm not attending so I made the change online, saying that I am attending. Now HESAA is saying they need proof of enrollment, and I had my university fax something over but since I still haven't chosen classes (I do on the 15th at orientation), it says not enrolled. HESAA said that they sent out rosters and the university has to confirm my attendance. I am afraid that if my TAG (I know I am eligible due to my previous financial aid package for 2012-2013 I received and there has been no change in income) doesn't come in time for move in day, Montclair won't let me move in. How long does it take HESAA to send funds? Will my aid fall through?</p>

<p>Talk to Montclair’s financial aid office. In situation like this, which happen a lot they will send something to the Bursars office that indicates pending funds from the state or government,. You aren’t going to rush HESAA or government money. It comes when they send it out. The schools know that as they deal with this all of the time.</p>
