Transfering to Binghamton SOM for Spring 2015

Hello, everyone. I am a second semester sophomore at the University at Buffalo. I want to transfer to Binghamton's School of Management program, but my gpa at the moment is not good enough to get me in. I want to finish out this spring semester strong to raise my gpa and apply for the Spring semester 2015. Are the chances of me getting in smaller in the Spring? Also, what is the typical gpa accepted at the minimum? Thanks.

Hey shaggy, I’m a freshman here at BU. I transferred into SOM in the Spring semester from Harpur, the arts and science school here. To answer your questions, yes, it is harder to transfer into SOM in the spring than in the fall. I was informed that there are a lot less spots available in the spring versus the fall. As for GPA, I only know the intra school standards and they may or may not apply to transfers from other schools but a minimum GPA to be considered is 3.5. It is a very selective school. I had a 3.9 my first semester here, coupled with me being an athlete, I was a strong enough candidate for them to admit me. Hope you get that GPA up and get admitted. If you have any other questions feel free to ask me.

@Serbestofall‌ I am a transfer from a suny community college I have a 3.87 GPA and am applying for spring 2015 admission. I was wondering if you could chance me on admission? Some other things I have a job at staples where I work 20 hours a week and one thing I’m worried about is I have/will be taking every recommended class other than Stats and Calc.
Thanks in advance
