Transfering to Brown

Hey, everyone. I’m a graduating Senior, and I’m interested in transfering to Brown upon receiving two years of general education (at a cheaper price, no doubt) from a UC. I applied for Regular Decision; however, it is highly unlikely that I’ll get in considering the fact that my SAT scores are nothing spectacular. While I know that this is not the only factor taken into consideration during the admissions process, I feel like I could use the extra two years to increase my chances of acceptance regardless.

With that said, I’d really appreciate any advice you could give me regarding these next two years. Grades are obvious matters, but what about courses? Is there a general GPA I should attempt to attain? How should I plan the next two years as a prospective transfer student?

Respones of any kind would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, and good luck to everyone applying. :)

improvisator, i'm planning on doing the same thing if i dont get into any of my reach schools!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm really intent on getting accepted to Brown. I mentioned that in my application, too. =]

Hopefully, someone will answer this. :)
