Hi everyone,
I am currently enrolled in Florida International University with a 2.75 gpa and I am a Finance major with 30 semester credits. I was an average student my first two semesters having a 3.1 Cumulative GPA. This last semester, since I was unable to make the University soccer team, I totally lost control and I was in that phase where I didnt want to be in this University and I began slacking off. The result from that was that last semester I ended up with a F,C-,C,D+ and I also had to drop a class. I was going through many family issues and personal issues. My goal is to attend University of Miami, and has motivated me to do well this semester, which so far my lowest grade is a A-. What are my changes or what are my best options to get into University of Miami?

I think Miami is out of your reach, but never hurt to try. In the mean time you should apply broadly to lower ranked schools.

OTOH, what is the reason you want to transfer. I think the first priority is to get your grades up at FIU

Anything with the word “state” in the title should be with in reach.
