can i transfer from a community college to san diego state in 1 year or must i go 2 years there before i can transfer?

my friend wants to do the same thing, please tell me the answer if you find it. thnx.

sdsu girls on on fire!!!

Check CSU Mentor (www.csumentor.com) or the SDSU website, but I believe SDSU does not accept lower division transfers -- meaning that you can't transfer after the first year.

If you're planning to transfer to SDSU, you have to do 2 years in CC. SDSU doesn't take in lower division transfers. They haven't for at least 5 years. The best was is to transfer from a CCC in the San Diego Area. You get preference and it's less difficult to get in.

Most colleges aren't accepting lower division transfers in this state. This started when the budget crisis hit a few years back.

Two years will go by really fast. I transfered from outside the San Diego County area without any problems. Just keep your GPA up and you'll be fine.

It doesn't really matter how many years you have, as long as you have 60 transferrable units completed.

My buddy is goin to TCU and then wants to transfer to SDSU after this year (1 year). So will he have to wait two years, or until he has 60 units or is there anyway he can be at SDSU next year?

bump........
