<p>So I didn't get into the school I wanted, but I plan to transfer there next year. I'm just wondering if it's even possible to transfer into the spring semester this year (freshman year). I would think that it would be very difficult, does anyone know what this would require?</p>
<p>Most colleges don't allow you to transfer freshman year. Check to see if your college does allow it. If they do, then the college will base their decision mainly on your HS stats. But yeah, it would be very difficult. When transferring, colleges like to see growth in their applicants, so EC's would be a definite as well as doing something that really sets you apart.</p>
<p>Also I've heard that school rarely do it as they don't believe you've given your current school a chance. A lot of freshman go to college hate/struggle etc first semester as it's a large change of pace for some and can cause you to want out.</p>
