<p>I think I made a bit of a mistake when applying. I should have applied to Tepper, but I applied to CAS. Once into Carnegie, how hard is it to transfer from the CAS to the Tepper school of business?</p>

<p>At CMU, you apply to a particular school and there is NO guarantee that you will be able to transfer to another school within CMU -- particularly the more popular programs like Tepper. If you have just applied (i.e., haven't been accepted yet), call the Admission Office IMMEDIATELY and see if you can make the switch now before they begin the evaluations.</p>
<p>I am assuming you are literally into CMU....I was considering the same switch. It will be very hard. They will hold you to the same criteria as everyone else...which means a 3.5 gpa...which in cmu is pretty rough. good luck</p>
